Why are manlets so aesthetic?

Better proportions. Same reason shorter girls tend to have better bodies.

While height is in itself an aesthetic factor, most people who are tall are not proportionately wide enough to compensate. Hence the "lankiness". Tall guys have to work twice as hard to look half as filled out because their bodies are longer.

They're still inherently more aesthetic because unfortunately height is everything in our culture.

This unfortunately. As a manlet you might have a better looking body, but nobody even gives a fuck about your body when you're wearing clothes. Have you seen Lu Xiaojun in a hoodie? The dude looks small af. Being tall has a lot to do with giving off a sense of authority and in return receiving respect.

plus because of leverages it's easier for manlets to move heavier weights. A lanklet deadlifting 2pl8 has to move it through more physical space, while a manlet doing the same will expend less energy

But that's not even close to true, anon. Facial structure and proportions (broad shoulders/narrow hips/muslce to body fat ratio) is everything in our culture.
