Counting calories vs low carb

Low carb helps me maintain a lower calorie count.
I've always lost bodyfat when I've used a calorie deficit regardless of carbohydrate intake.
Your goal should be
1.5g to 2.0g/kg protein
1.0g/kg fat
Rest of calories into carbs; this here determines your final total calorie intake.
why not both ?
Most beginners have no idea about the foods they eat as far as macros & calories.
I get triggered when I see these diets where you are supposed to buy packaged food. You should really be learning about what foods have the qualities that you want. Not just becoming dependent on some prepacked meal.

both make you feel like shit

Low carb if you wanna become/stay dyel and fuck up your test
Ric Drasin has some great info on how they took on carbs and fats in the 70's, if your goal is to body build that is. His shit is on youtube. But in general, just dont be a fat ass, eat lots of protein and most importantly work out consistently.

I have never had to count calories on keto because the few times I did I didn't get anywhere close and I always eat the same things
Down to 200 now from 270 last january, still going to cut until the tits go away and I lose my gut. Lifting slows down my weight loss but it's making my body look better so I'm okay with it

My most ripped phase in life was in highschool when i wrestled.
I was 6 ft, 185 lbs shredded to the bone.
Ate high carb (loads of veggies) high fat and medium protein
(parents didnt allow me to take protein powders then)
Low carb to get shredded is absolute bullshit
>caloric deficit on a carb heavy diet
>lose 40lbs
>no carbs
>visibly get progressively leaner but weight increases
I've always ate a sizeable amount of carbs and I've never had a problem maintaining my deficit, I also think most keto foods are fucking gross
For me I do it this way
>Bulking:
Am I making gains in both strength and size weekly, but not exploding in fat?
>Cutting:
Count and measure your shit.

>low carb
Is there any merit in low carb and slightly lower cals on non training days?
