Well I guess the biggest problem is also that I don't really have many friends, if any at all.

Whenever I visit my parents and they have a guest over, they nearly 100% of the time comment outloud how it's weird that I don't hug my parents back when they hug me, or how "shy I am". To be fair usually they're not doing it in a schoolyard-bully way (I don't think), but they do point it out.

The same thing happened at the martial arts class I used to go to. All of the other people were friends outside of the class so when they met at class or when they were saying goodbye when leaving, everyone would hug each other. Every single possible combination of one person hugging another would always happen, I was the only exception. Some of them kind of laughed it off when I didn't hug them back and just stood there like a fucking rock and say "Oh, we'll work on it." One woman actually seemed a little insulted and said "No hug? No hug? Do they not hug in your culture?" I remember when one woman was leaving she basically went down the line and hugged all of the guys, but when she got to me, she just smiled and held her fist out for the knuckle pound.

I have plenty of other times when these things happened, and now I realize I don't know why I'm even typing this. I guess I can buy that not everyone will get in your face about it and make you feel terrible for having abnormal behavior, but I've never gotten the sense that a woman who knows my weird behavior wants me in bed. Maybe before she finds out how weirdly I behave, but never after.
