Does yoga really improve the nervous system?

active rest promotes CNS recovery
light yoga can be considered as active rest
>don't over twist that spine though

eating properly helps. Your CNS wont work without proper ions.
Lifting weight helps with recruiting more muscle to react in response to a stimulus.
Not so sure what yoga does for your nervous system though.

I'm asking because I read the following on a website:
>Benefits of Yoga: Develop greater flexibility of your spine in its full range of motion, allowing the central nervous system to function optimally, resulting in high levels of energy and well-being.
I'm not sure how reliable this information is.
I'm already sweating it in the gym for lifting and cardio, so I'm wondering if it's worth the time.

Hence the thread, googling is giving me yes and no answers.
Why would you quote and agree with me.
What a silly man you are
My system isn't nervous.
do it dude, helps gains, and you get shiva linga fuck powers
Isometric holds technically cause nerves to grow.
Unless you're a goddamn beast already though, you won't be holding a difficult enough posture for long enough that it matters.
And it still won't do what you probably think it will.
Yoga is great, despite 99% of the health claims associated with it being unproven or outright horseshit. Flexibility is enough of a benefit.

My uni yoga group was literally smoking hot women, gay guys and their hags.
Being the most normal person in there made me angry.
However I did enjoy looser calves.
