My advice: force them to play a sport, but let them decide which one. My parents did that and now me and my siblings play our own sports baseball, rugby, football, volleyball and gymnastics and we'll keep playing those because we genuinely like those.
Don't be one of those dads that tries to live their childhood sports dream through their kid.
