I mildly injured my shoulder.
I use kettlebells and I started out with the swing and the get up.
First day after going from the 16kg to the 24kg, I lost control of the kettlebell and while doing the get up and tried to hold on to it.
I still have full range of movement and strength, but a couple hours after my workout my right shoulder starts to get uncomfortable and my left does not.
The discomfort is right where the arm connects to the shoulder, like at the top.
I took about a week off and started up my routine with the 16kg bell again, but the pain is still there.
So I've decided to take some more time off and I'm wondering hown long I should expect to be out of my routine.
Really disappointing cuz I was just about to upgrade to the 32kg.
is this for real
Yes, this is for real.

Anyone have info on the injury?
Can I ignore it?
I actually kept doing my routine for about a week after this and stopped when it was obvious the discomfort wasn't going away.
Like I said I still have full strength and range of movement, its just that the pain is becoming a regular thing after my workout and I don't want to turn a minor injury into something serious.

get that shit checked and then you're certain about what it is.

Sounds to me like you have kettlebellfagtorea in your rotator cuff, pretty common while doing kettle bell swings. I suggest switching it up to an activity to a workout that will actually help you get stronger.
