My bench max went from 295 to 285 in 4 weeks. Thanks 5/3/1.
>>40152365
Yeah that definitely wasn't the programs fault anon
>>40152365
Youre to weak to be running 5/3/1 moron. You should be on texas method.
>>40152365
>following a program
>doing bench 1x a week
lmao
Wow. Idk how you fucked that up. My bench went from 295 to 315 in one cycle of 5/3/1.
>>40152365
weak idiot
>>40152395
guess again, 5/3/1 is shit for bench
>>40153314
lmao @ u
>>40153835
this
>>40152365
don't run 5/3/1, run Sheiko
>>40154422
Why Sheiko? I've gotten pretty good results from 5/3/1.
>>40154553
just because it works for you, doesn't mean it works for OP
some people can bench with low volume and frequency and make gains, many (probably most) can't, and need to lean on it a little and go to 2x a week minimum, preferably 3x, with some significant volume
>>40152365
Did you start the program with your current maxes? You're supposed to start lower.
>>40153835
Just do bench assistance on OHP day and vice versa. You should add more volume anyway, Wendler says so in Beyond 5/3/1. First set last and jokers sets are good.
>>40152365
i hope you aren't doing vanilla 5/3/1, unless you're an old man...
read beyond 5/3/1 and add more pressing volume and frequency. i kept stalling out on bench until i tweaked the program
>>40155161
How much more volume and frequency are we talking?
>>40152365
Gee, it's almost like american low volume roidaroo programs only work for roidaroos or something
>>40156034
5/3/1 is a super natty program dude
>>40152365
>run 5/3/1
>Can only bench b/w (250lbs) 3 times
>at the end of 2 cycles bench b/w 250lbs 10 times
