Pork butt rubbed with olive oil, cumin, and oregano. Chopped jalapeno and a halved orange with it. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 4 or so. Shred the pork when its finished and freeze what you aren't going to eat right away since there will be a lot of meat.
Take said meat and throw it under a broiler for a few minutes to crisp up a bit and use it for burritos, tacos, whatever. It's fucking delicious.

-4 cubed chicken breasts
-3 onions diced
-1 can evaporated milk
-2 carrot
-3 potato cubed
-half cup chicken stock
-bit of flour to thicken
-500g sliced mushroom
-rosemary
-add curry powder or chicken gravy mix too your liking
slow cook for 6 hours and serve with rice or whatevs

I eat that every morning after my workout and lasts me about a week.
I don't do any of those dump and wait miracle recipes since they're almost always garbage. I mainly just use it to cook large amounts of meat. throw in some chicken or pork along with some spices and a bit of liquid, in a few hours you've got shredded chicken or pulled pork. also works well for things like caramelizing onions and cooking beans, although you probably shouldn't cook kidney beans in there or you might get food poisoning
