Do I really have to count my calories and macros guys? I mean, I don't live alone and literally cook for my family, how much will it hinder my progress to eat blindly?

Most people are surprised when they first start calorie counting just how much they're actually having. It'd be good to at least get an idea of what your standard day is so you know whether to increase or decrease your intake.
Friend is trying to lose weight and I recommended they use myfitnesspal to track EVERYTHING that they eat.
Friend says it's too tedious to do that. They did it in the past but they say they know they'll get annoyed by doing this all day.
I'm seething and hold back all urges to call them lazy as fuck..
How do I motivate them to track their food when they're too fucking lazy? IS there a better took I should recommend instead of myfitnespal?

Typo. I meant to say better tool.
Once you've been doing it for a little while, you kinda memorize the numbers for most of the things you eat, and can pretty much do it in your head.

It's fine if you want to just be healthy.
If you want to get shredded you will probably need to count everything, or do an extreme amount of physical activity
