Red pill me on energy drinks /fit/
I like to drink a 16oz can of monster every now and then Mostly after a rough varsity game.
(Maybe two a week at most)
-How does it affect me physically
-How does it effect me mentally
-Does /fit/ consider it a steroid?
Don't use the sugar and calories as an argument. I can read the label
Don't say it's degeneracy without a valid point.
Don't shit post about how your mom and her friends say it's bad, without a valid point.

>are energy drinks steroids
I'd say stay away due to the amount of sugar, and the price
just drink coffee and eat fruit for some energy boosts

i hope this is bait.

-How does it affect me physically
>It's caffeine and other stimulants with sweetener. So the same as that
-How does it effect me mentally
>Sugar substitutes are not good for you, but not in the same way that sugar is not 100% beneficial. Many may have longer term mental effects, but like many things this is not a cut & dry scientific conclusion
-Does /fit/ consider it a steroid?
> Those that do need to bench more with a suicide grip
I'd rather stick to natural juices if I want a sweet drink. Otherwise my preference is agave syrup (tea & coffee, if I sweeten them), or a cane sugar soda (rarity)
I don't know why, but artificial sweeteners leave me with a chemical taste in my mouth and syrup sweetened soda taste like oil or sometimes even gasoline now
The only "Jew" thing is that it's packaged & branded so that you can be charged a heavy markup...so no worse than the rest of life unless you're reading /pol/ several hours a day

It's just a caffeine source with some extra shit thrown in. You could get all of it at a health food store, there's nothing illegal or magical about any of it. You could drink 16oz of strong coffee or take a no-doz pill and it's about the same. Drink them if you like and DGAF what anyone has to say about it, just don't guzzle a dozen of them a day.

Except for the artificial sweetener that "0 calorie" one use.
I'm not going into detail of
> Many may have longer term mental effects, but like many things this is not a cut & dry scientific conclusion
but we do know sugar and sweet things tend to create a feedback loop. If this gets out of control, you get bad shit.
Like you said, if you're drinking a dozen a day, you've got other issues. At least it's not the 6 different kinds of sweetener + caramel with a hint of coffee that out female sales staff is addicted to
