Dude, I bring mine in and leave it by the door. I literally have a kitchen with room for 4 people in it, one average sized bedroom, a shared toilet/shower, and a closet by the door. Fuck the closet, the bike goes in front of it.

Only if you're stupid and don't eat enough.

Also endurance athletes, especially cyclists, have plenty of muscle -- below the waist. When you're going to climb hills on a bike you don't put on excess weight that doesn't make the bike climb faster. Cyclists train in the gym using a different regime than a bodybuilder.

Also avoiding cardio just shows how undisciplined and unconcerned with actual overall fitness you really are. Actually strong, fit people have actual endurance and can go run 10 miles without it killing them and without complaining about it the whole time.

Things like chest and shoulders are developed enough to help prevent injury when you crash, which if you're in the game long enough, is going to happen. Otherwise upper and lower back are developed to hold firm so power transfer between the handlebars and the pedals isn't compromised. Weak core=wasted power.
