It's both.

Heavy deadlifts and volume squats on back day.

early wheelchair exercise
hospital day excercise

>Volume deads
Lol just lol.
Deads are a full body exercise op you just need to time them so your legs and lower back wont be sore when you choose to do them.

3 x 10 100kg deadlifts on leg day helped me improve my form a lot. Helped me grip strength too
>trap bar, block pull on back day
>Romanians, conventional on leg day
>>40098007
>inb4 1x5 once a week is all you need
>tfw too intelligent for deadlifts
You can just do squats, hip thrusts, and hyper extensions and not have to worry about snapping your shit up
>>40098007
Yeah, no. Volume deadlifts are incorporated into so many programs it's unbelievable. Many of my friends who compete in powerlifting and pull 545+ are doing days of 3x8 and variations after their top sets.
5/3/1, Cube, variations of TM and other programs have volume deads. Your reasoning as to why you can't deadlift frequently is also entirely wrong. It has to do with the fact that the deadlift has no eccentric, so it does take a systemic toll on the person if they're going heavy. There isn't anything wrong with volume deads, however.
