You can get a set of like 20 tupperware containers of all sizes for like 5 bucks there.
I use the shaker cups that my local supp store gives me with every purchase.
I don't even use silverware because everything I cook is bite sized, so I can just mix everything up with a shake pour it in my mouth.

Zip lock bags work well for spaghetti and other pastas. Just throw them into your pocket and you're set.
I spent $48 on a set of glass containers, 5 half litre square and 5 1 litre square containers with the locking lids.
They're ideal for meal prep and storage and refrigeration and heating and transportation. A little pricy I guess but for a one-time purchase I don't think it's excessive.
