Hey /fit/, currently on a cut. How do you guys feel about spaghetti? Basically pic related with the ground beef and sauce.
just dont eat it all
potato>rice>bread>spagetti

too many calories to fit into a cut
your cut should primarily be composed of proteins and fats if you wanna make gains
save the carbs for when you bulk
>>40069575
Why potato over rice?
>>40069584
thats like asking why Beyonce over Madonna
>>40069548
How I feel about spaghetti? I fucking love spaghetti yo, whole wheat spaghetti and lean beef and I can eat that shit all year nigga
I still eat it on a cut, fit it into 1700 cals a day
As long as it fits your macros, whatever m8.

Absolutely this. It's so easy to make tons of pasta with fresh ingredients and keep it within macro targets.
>>40069548
good stuff just use whole grain pasta
>>40069618
I dont know that answer either
Just have a little spaghetti with lots of meat
Don't buy sauces make your own with canned tomatos
>>40069618
what did he mean by this?
>>40069639
Yeah but how many grams of pasta can you squeeze in? I suppose no more than 100.
Try Shiritaki noodles. They are made with some yam root fiber shit that's basically zero calories. The consistency is a little weird at first but they are a good way to get your pasta fix on a cut.
Pasta is too calorie dense for what you're getting for a cut.
Instead make a pot of chili and eat it on rice.

they're both pretty shit but people like potatoes more cause they're brown..?
>>40069575
This, can't believe how little carbs and calories per unit weight they have. Don't know why they're hated so much by diet fags.
>>40069738
Yeah I keep it around 4 oz/113 g dry, but that's a shit ton of pasta.

"They naturally don't contain any calories because the glucomannan starch they're made of is an indigestible dietary fiber and also contains no carbohydrates."
>Indigestible
Poopin noodles
