Not a baseball guy but I suppose you can work on your grip and forearm strength since they are often neglected in sports training. You could also try swing with weighted clubs to give your entire arm that "functional" strength.

doing weighted swings on something that is skill based will just fuck with your timing. do a strength based lifting program with lots of prehab and warming up (face pulls and rear delt work)
