Do you guys count all protein equally or only whey protein
Whey protein does essentially nothing and is pretty much empty calories.
You need real food.
count it equally
50g from whey/milk
50g from fish or meat
25g from eggs or cheese
25g from wheat/bread
Thats how I get my protein in as a manlet.

I substract all regular protein from my daily calories from other sources then eat whey protein until im back to my daily goal
So if I eat 2500 calories, out of which 1000 comes from protein, I substract 1000 from the 1500 non-protein calories. That leaves me with 500 so I need to eat 2000 calories in whey protein to get my daily goal.
As long as you get protein from different sources you're probably okay. It's only the people who get ALL their protein from one source, e.g. soy, that might have issues with incomplete amino acids. That being said, whey is one of the best proteins as far as that goes.
