Are these just a meme or do they actually the best way to get ripped?
They're very versatile and add new compound movements when mixed into accessory lifts, but the people who swear by only using them (read: cultists) are pants-on-head retarded

They're great for conditioning, a good accessory to normal weights.

It's fucking weight you retard. You can literally get ripped with random stones.

Just one tool, like a dumbbell, barbell, or pullup bar. There's no one "best" tool to use, no single "best" way to get ripped.

People that take kettlebell training seriously are fucking weird.
I'm really surprised they aren't pushed more by the grip freaks. Having a fixed weight that's not balanced on either side of the hand makes for all sorts of ways to work the forearm.
I use one regularly at the gym to keep the assisted dip platform weighed down

Exactly you can lift logs, beer kegs, olympic barbells, baby cows, whatever. Your muscles don't care.
