Most importantly dont use screens 1-2 hrs before bed. If you do, use software to filter out blue light. It totally fucks up your melatonin production.

I take a ZMA before bed, and then I'm wide awake tossing and turning half the night.
I can go from heavy eyelids nearly passing out, to having a ZMA and being awake.

I agree with ZMA and sleep hygiene discussed here. If you really want sleep, and anticipate a restless night, pop a doxylamine (generic unisom, like 100 tablets for ten bucks). I'm a huge fan

Nope. Antihistamine similar to Benadryl but with a half life of 9 hours. Take an hour before bed. Am pharmacy student
