So tomorrow is the day when my life is getting turned around.
im hitting the gym.
Currently i'm 6'4 and im 286 lbs. My goal is 200 lbs, is this possible? My friend is a personal trainer and he promised he would help me get where I want.
I am tired of being a fat, it was fun being fat and nerdy playing video games for a few years but now I want to move up in life.
What can I expect from this journey? Should I take a Before pic and after pic during this journey? Any motivational tips you guys can share if youve been in the same position? What can help me keep on pushing?
thanks

You are not making it. I'm quite sure you will quit soon

Well, tomorrow is when my programme starts, it wasnt my choice. I wanted to start asap.
It's gonna suck at first, but if you can stick with it, it will get easy, even fun. Weight loss is 90% diet 10% gym. The basic premise is that you just need to eat fewer calories than you burn. It's much easier to simply not eat something than to burn it off later. Take pics, I lost 40 lbs and regret not having any from when I started. Good luck, you're gonna make it brah

You should have posted this saying 'yesterday was'.
This is the fucking reason I started my NYR 6 years ago in fucking November. It was fucking 1 am and I went on a jog/runining interval work for 20 minutes.
KISS my man
Don't turn this into an epic struggle.
Just find your TDEE (use sedentary), get a scale, use my fitnes pal, and get under your fucking daily targer
Keep meals simple, workouts basic
Just get it done

Just keep with it and make sure you actually go. 86 pounds might be tough, but it is definitely achievable.
Before and after would be good, mostly to help you track your progress. Shits gonna really help when you look back at any point and see how far you've come.
Best of luck to you, bro

No, start right now. Watch what you eat now. Don't do those last meal things. "Hurr, I start my diet/exercise tomorrow, so I'm gonna pig out one last time"
Eat good

Why would your program start on a Tuesday? That and the fact it was put together by a PT tells me it's shit.
Tell us what is in your program kid.
