I agree that many don't have practical carryover.


The majority of beginner programs are used to give structure.


Personally, my program involves one arm chin ups, overhead press, plyometric/weighted jumps, floor gymnastics, sword/boxing drills, and shaolin foot drills.
The thing is that an average guy doesn't need this degree of specialization. He just needs mobility and a few big compounds. After that he's fine.

And also, I'm legitimately interested in the posture correction work of FP, but you have to stop walking around with a chip on your shoulder and acting like weight lifting is bullshit (I don't squat and find trap bar deadlifts to be superior to standard DL). Give it credit where it deserves, and then use this to bridge the gap between what your training can accomplish and what traditional barbell doesn't.

Also, you're using too many big words. It makes you seem like a pseudo-intellectual or that at the least you have asperger's.

Your business is growing, but if you want some serious dosh, you're going to have to really be at peace with yourself.

one-arm chinups are worthless though. you must be a lightweight manlet to even consider these a good choice

weighted jumps are OK if you know what you're doing, but anyone that does shaolin foot drills doesnt know what they're doing so i worry for you.
