If you're dieting, what's the latest you should eat a meal? I've heard you shouldn't eat late at night because the food is more likely to store as fat
I had a medium sized meal at 8:30pm, but I've only had 1200 calories today. Am I good?
have you read the sticky?
I suggest that before bedtime, you read the sticky.
You already know that we know everything in your post is a myth. It's not even witty, so it's not trolling. Why make such a pointless post? I'm really curious as to what drove you to it.
How many seconds after 830?

Oh, scratch what I said.
I guess it's not obvious enough for these two.

Reminder that posting "THIS IS BAIT" is exactly as stupid as actually falling for the bait.
OP here, this honestly isn't bait. I have read the sticky but it was months ago and I don't remember reading anything about eating late at night.
Anyway glad you're all triggered by a question

I don't see how, but I was saying it's too stupid to even be bait, so it's less than bait (pointless).
Not my fault you're fucking stupid/it's your first time on the Internet.

>makes TWO "lol this is bait" posts
Jesus Christ how new

Or maybe not everyone frequently lurks /fit/ and has memorised the sticky word for word
Maybe some people are new to dieting and are just asking questions
Insulin spikes cause increase glucose uptake by cells. If the energy is not used, it will cause an increase in fat storage. The earlier you eat, the earlier the insulin spike and the more time you have to use said energy. At night time, you don't require much energy, so eating before sleeping will more likely cause fat deposition. Finish eating earlier so you have more chances of utilizing the food rather than it being stored (as fat) for future use.
This is dumbed down to a 3rd grade level ignoring things like glycogen and metabolism. I also wrote in absolutes, which is incorrect. Still, I hope you get the gist of what I am saying.
