I recently switched to non-iodized salt so I'm concerned about becoming iodine deficient.

However, most of the iodine supplements I can find have stupid high dosages.

I found one supplement that has like 8000% of the RDA. Can I just take one pill a week or should I look for a lower dosed one and take it daily?

Is this bait? You realize all of humanity has survived millions of years without shitty supplements, they literally do nothing. Maybe if you have some kinda disease or something that makes you lack in a certain vitamin then fine I get it. But this shits retarded

My roommate claims iodized salt tastes bitter. I can't taste a difference but he really hates it. We share meals so I just cook with non-iodized salt all the time.

yes I am certain that it was not the poor living conditions, but actually the lack of Iodine. You are correct how could I have not seen such an obvious thing

There's a difference between simply surviving and having optimal health.

If a certain mineral is difficult to get through diet why not supplement?
