Use rack pulls dead lifts off blocks you could try deads with snatch grip off blocks using 50-60% if your tm to try and break your threshold

It was a good program in its time and i ran it and saw some pretty nominal strength gains
You could try saying although BBB was a good start for Wendler, his programs in Beyond 5/3/1 are much better and have a lot more thought put into them
He has a 28 week program in the book that's good for a lifter with stats like yours as it will ease you into heavier lifts
But to the anon who's seeking advice the more you lift look less at how you program and more on how your body feels the weights will come just don't feel obligated to the numbers

When I say barebones I mean the original program that has 1x per week frequency and the monthly deload. It's bad because there are so many other options out there that are just better for powerlifting and getting stronger. 1x per week frequency for each lift with high volume each training session is far from ideal for a natural lifter, especially a powerlifter.

I also personally dislike AMRAP sets.

Worked up to an 11RM on deadlifts, then matched reps with two 5% back off sets (i.e. drop 5% and match reps, drop another 5% and match reps again). Then I did the same for bench.
I was pretty gassed after that, so I just did some curls and pulldowns and went home.
I'm really looking forward to going back to school tomorrow, so I can get my diet sorted out. Living at home for break means eating a fuckton of sugar and pasta.

You need to improve your flexibility and get a higher arch.
With the current arch you have, the position you're touching the bar is too low.
That means you have to touch a bit higher, but that can be bad for your shoulders.

So start stretching your spine, specially thoracic. Try to get a better set up on the bench.

As for the wrist and forearm pain, while I can see pain being triggered by touching too low, thus having a weird pushing position off the chest, I find it unlikely that the pain is being originated here.

In my opinion you need to see a doctor for your wrist.

For now, while you work on improving your arch, I recommend you stop doing competition bench.
Instead, do Spoto Bench Press. Give it a google, iirc candito has a video on that.

I expect Spoto to help avoid some of the pain you're having.

The point of the Spoto Press isn't for his strength.

It's to stop his pain.
He can't bench without pain.

The reason for my Spoto recommendation is due to the awkward forearm positions he is having when going all the way to the chest. This is likely to be triggering the nerve entrapment he is suffering from.

I'm sure rank novices deserve to not be forced into doing painful exercises when they can do variations that work their muscles in a similar fashion and don't cause pain.

But what do I know. I give "terrible advise". I'm sure Anonymous knows more about neural issues and specific movements that trigger specific positions for specific muscles and fasciae.

There are two genders.

Being a butch lesbian doesn't make you a third gender. Being a transgirl doesn't make you a third gender. Being a feminine but straight guy doesn't make you a third gender. Being a bear or twink gay man doesn't make you a third gender. Being a furry girl doesn't make you a third gender. Being a nerdy girl doesn't make you a third gender. Liking anime doesn't make you a third gender. Enjoying chocolate cake more than ice cream doesn't make you a third gender.

However, it is not a binary system. You can be one, the other, both (though I'm not sure this is a practical thing, as in, I'd expect being "both" to be just a temporary phase for those born with special biological/medical conditions), or none (I guess? I never really stopped to think about this one, I'm just assuming it's medically/biologically possible).

But you don't choose your gender. You are born with it. This includes transgender people, I for example was born a girl. I have always been a girl. I didn't choose to be a girl, that's who I have always been. I was simply forced to live as something I was not for most of my life.
