hi im going for a thicc look so i was wondering, for my upper body
should i use high rep ranges and keep adding weight or use typical rep ranges and stay at a low weight? I want to go as heavy as possible for my lower body so that's not the problem

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. You may *slightly* build a bit more muscle using the high rep ranges, though, but it's negligible.
If you want thicc, just add a shit load of volume + eat.

yeah this. Just be careful with your surplus though, I was not really tracking carefully and somehow got to 25% bf. Still kinda had abs, but I felt fat

depends on how you feel carrying that much weight I guess. My lifts were solid at least, hit a ton of bench PRs
