Used to have bad acne but I changed how I showered and it got rid of the acne. First I showered regularly with a hot shower to open my pores and clear them out and ended with a cold shower to close my pores so pimples wouldn't form. Worked well for me. I also used to touch my face a lot and when I stopped doing that my acne disappeared.
