Hey everyone, I kept telling someone that I could beat their time at a half marathon (2hr ten minutes) my goal is half a marathon in 2 hours. How should I start training for this?

this might sound a little bit too much simplified, but in fact this is how you do it. Just go running for what ever the distance is you can do and try do get better

Isn't a two hour half marathon pretty easy? Like, really easy?

My goal isn't to be great; simply better than the person who came before me.
Considering this is not your first time ( in that case you're fucked, start with c25k)
5 runs a week.
Start with 4xeasy + 1 long run (1.5x/2x of your ez run)
After a month look into some lactate runs to build up but your main goal should be a decent long run 2h+ in some time, depending on your fitness level.
If 5 runs are too hard then lower the time in each one, try to keep up with frequency. Run the doms away but never force through real pain (itb band, knee and plantar fascitis are common injuries.
Don't overtrain! If you push yourself too hard it's not a matter of 'if' but 'when' you get injured. A simple itb band syndrome injury can cost you 4 weeks off the track, be careful.
