I only do supersets when I lift now because it would take over an hour to do everything if I didn't but I have a question: Should I be putting exercises together that are antagonistic, compound or completely unrelated to each other?
As an example, I do squats supersetted with pullups because then there is no chance of tiring myself out for each exercise since the muscles used are completely unrelated but is that the proper way to superset?

Either is fine. The amount you can lift WILL go down a bit from supersetting no matter what though.
