Anybody have a strength routine for jiu jitsu? My coach tells me do more jiu jitsu, but I want to be as strong as possible.
pick one that revolves around heavy deadlifts, rows, and weighted pull-ups i guess

Thanks man, any other reccomendations?
do SS. don't forget power cleans, you need the explosiveness for your judo.

not really, i was just basing that recommendation after seeing guys like frank molinaro or jordan burroughs say their strength training involves a lot of pulling motions like deadlifts and pull-ups
you could try looking at d1 wrestlers' s&c programs to get some ideas, or reading through their coaches' works

*BREEEEEEEEEEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP*
Thanks fellas. This is all helpful
I'm stronger than a lot of guys at my gym but I'm worse at Bjj than a lot of guys at my gym.
Technique is most important, then cardio, then strength.

okay

back extension, bridges, light deadlift (from half bw to bw),
pull-up, dips, push-ups, dips, weighted pull-up
TRX moves and skin the cat for shoulders
Handstand wall walk and push-up
squats, light weighted squats (up to bw back and half bw front)
Kettlebells work
Lots of muscle up instead of cleans, neck will thank you later in life.
Some abwheel roller on knee.

I hear you man, but in a competition with people the same skill level and weight I want to have that extra edge.

THat extra edge is cardio before strenght.
>Hill sprints all the way baby.
And some muscle-up.
