Guys what are some good accessory lifts to get The Press to go up. My goal is a body weight The Press this year.
Currently weigh 200 pounds and can The Press 160. Trying to get my body weight to 170 or so.
I did an 85kg ohp at 74bw without any assistance lifts, just really nailed my form and made it the first lift of the session going to a 1-3RM and it seemed to go up.
but if I was making recommendations, probably along the lines of

incline bb/db bench
db shoulder press (seated and standing)
db gorilla press
klokov press

Push Press was pretty effective in increasing my OHP. It really slays your triceps, which is typically the weak point of most people's press

I only managed to break through my OHP plateau by doing push press. Really overloads everything, especially the triceps.
