Just do foam rolling and dynamic stretches

overstretching is bad - like stretching already weak muscles
if you want to improve rom in some joint then stretch

*pprrrrrttttt*
Everyone should do basic stretches 10 minutes in the morning and right before bed. Nothing wrong with it.

You absolutely need to stretch. I work with some 40 year olds who have rock hard joints like an 80 year old because they have the same attitude as you. It will bite you in the ass as you age, ungracefully.

The best athletes of any sport where strength/power is important would stretch daily.

From memory, static stretching (especially when muscles are cold) just fucks them up. "Dynamic" stretching is great.
In other words, warm up by slow and low intensity movement, then do stretches where you're actually moving.
I'm still bitter that my primary school sports teachers made us do static shit which stayed as a habit for annoyingly long.

I fucking hate this meme you are almost as bad as footfags
Stretching makes my body feel better in instances where I'd simply feel worse if I didn't. For example I do a couple stretches in the morning where I'm not going to go do some faggotry dynamic stretch complex and exercise routine to replace my 1min of morning stretching.
I'll also stretch, foam roll and lacross ball at night if I'm sore and tight from lifting or at some point the following day.
I don't do any sort of stretching routine prior to lifting. I just hop on an airdyne to warm up. I stretch prior to aerobic sports like for example basketball. I've gotten mild injuries almost every time I didn't.
