If it's not an EC stack, DNP, or illegal just don't bother. If it's effective it's because it's drastically changing something your body does, the side effect of this is that it's going to be dangerous if done incorrectly, which means people probably have and died/injured themselves so it's probably illegal.
EC stack has the biggest effect of just being a great appetite suppressant, it also has some minor thermogenic effect and I've read it has some anti-catabolic properties but I don't know how true that is, but it is also great for energy during workouts too which is nice.
