Do SS to get fundamentals down, but do other shit too.
No one said you can't do arms, back etc in addition to a starting program.
starting strength and stronglifts, it doesn't fucking matter. Add accessories to wherever you feel you could improve, and don't listen to any other fucking advice god damnit.

If you do other movements besides the ones listed in SS, you are technically not doing the program. Stick to the program.

Stronglifts shouldn't be an option, it's just a worse version of SS.
SS. But make sure you take a look to the book and watch the videos, so you can get your form right. And read Novice Programming, so you know what do along the various stages of the program.
