How often do you train Calves?
every day
Heavy standing 4x6-8
High rep seated 4x12-15 plus a few drop sets
How good is running for calf development?
Obviously if eating more to make up for calories burned.
every day i squat/pull. i do a few sets of 20 between my working sets
Calf raises till failure everyday.

Twice a week, when I do leg day

It's ok, only makes a significant difference if youre running on a steep incline.
>mfw I've always had meaty calves so I don't need to train them

i'm a manlet so i just walk around on my tiptoes everywhere i go.
my calves have appreciated it.

Different guy than the one that asked the question, but I noticed my calves exploding over the last couple months since I started jump roping.
Would you see jumping rope is better for calves than running or comparable?

i wish i grew up obese :(

Nah, I think it has to do with the way one walks. I was never skinny but the most I ever weighted was 92kg at 1.8m

>how to shin splints 101
>>39933019
Any non-manlets here without shitty calves?
>>39933089
I have naturally big calves and when I run frequently my calves shrink.

Idk the real answer but at least for me running made my calves pretty nice.
This was during hs xc so I was basically an auschwitz victim with large calves. Keep in mind me would regularly do hills and varied our runs quite a bit.

Best way to get massive calves is to be super fat for two years.
I hit them on leg day, do 2 sets of 15 heavy, and 1 set of lightweight 40 reps, they respond better to high volume
