Meal plan is fuckin awesome you can basically eat infinite food utilizing the cafeteria. Good selection but low quality but who cares? Customize it to meet your needs.

if your college lets you get takeout boxes and the residence halls are all you can eat, just load the everliving fuck out of the box with all your daily calories ( at mine meats changed by day typically but they always have some carb, some meat, and a shitton of vegetables/salad bar) and eat 1/3 or half or w/e assuming the box is big enough and you're into taking food back to your room. I always did stuff that way and wound up eating 1 meal a day and having shittons of money left over at the end of semesters even on the cheapest plan.

If you're counting calories like on MFP or something I honestly always just eyeball it and pick the closest thing it has on their food list and pray that it's somewhat close. Been able to cut to 7% bodyfat twice this way.

And if you're bulking abuse the fuck out of the meal plan. If your plan includes an all-you-can-eat cafeteria just sit down and fucking eat. If you really have no shame bring containers and put extra food in them when the employees aren't looking for more calories.

Not all schools are party schools. I go to an art college and people are pretty responsible and only do a lot of drinking and drugs after midterms and then after finals.
