the soles are too mushy

chucks are nice because your feet are almost directly on the floor

with sneakers you can see your shoe slide sideways a little bit from the sole, especially when squatting - that slide could result in a fucked up ankle

if they have compressible soles they're not useful.

I used to lift ALL THE TIME with these motherfuckers. Pretty OK shoe for liftin, but THE SHITTIEST SHOE EVER for running.

Deadlifting should be done in socks or barefoot

All other lifts should be in squat shoes
