They say you shouldn't have bread at all. I like a simple sandwich. Is having two slices of pic related once a day for lunch a bad idea when trying to cut weight? I did read the nutrition but I want /fit/'s opinion.

It's fine as long you stay under your goal daily calories consumption and meeting most or all of your macro requirements.

HONESTLY I'm considering eating some version of a sandwich made with one slice of bread. I've been eating various 12-grain 100% whole wheat bread and I can't say I'm totally satisfied after a couple years.
You're probably better off squeezing a little more macro into lunch

I eat protein bread. 8g of protein and 90 cals a slice.
