I finnaly ditched rows as main strength exercise and put in weighted chin ups, rows are now in 8-12 rep range.
What is the good goal for weighted chin up, what % of BW for how many reps?
My gym bro, who does only weighted pull ups and chin ups for backs looks huge, 40 kg over hand pull ups on 79 bw for 3 reps.
I feel like its easier to progress on chin ups aka neutral grip pull ups and you are less likely to cheat unlike on bent over rows.
im just glad i can 3x6 bodyweight chin-ups

Chinup means supinated grip. Neutral grip is just a neutral grip pullup.
check symmetrical strength.
it also depends a lot. lanklets with long limbs are gonna be naturally better @ pulling. manlets better at pushing.

pull ups are overhand
chin ups are underhand
neutral grip is its separate thing

30% of bodyweight for 3x5 is pretty good. 50% of bodyweight for 3x5 is great.

i've only ever done 45lbs for reps. it's kind of a bitch to set up for, desu, and i feel like there are better lat exercises. pullups/chins should be for supersetting imho.
