Braces as an adult

Not yet, but I will get them soon.
28 here, don't care about it really except that it will fix my teeth which is good in my book.

I'm 20 and I've had braces for about 8 months now. I have clear brackets with silver wire. They hurt for the first week, but haven't since then It sucks because your smile always looks weird with them as an adult, but mah teeth are lookin good so it will all be worth it soon. Only a couple more months to go...

Going to get them when summer starts, so I don't have to face my schoolmates right away. 25 here, wish I had done it ages ago. Everyone else has straight teeth and mine are fucked.

So you'll remove them at age 21? I'm 30 and my teeth are still moving (slowly but still), so keep an eye on your teeth as a quick fix may not be enough.

Oh by the way your dentists a dickhead. Invisalign is a massive scam for narcissistic adults scared of looking like they're getting their teeth fixed for a few months.

Cancel that shit and get a proper job done at a quarter of the price.

Also don't let people put you off with stories of how painful it is or whatever. As a grown man it shouldn't hurt that much just feels like a headache for a day or two once their first on.

Got my braces for a year and a month now age 25. Had an Overbit/Overjet. Not so much any more. My top Teeth now at least meet my bottom teeth. I can say fixing my teeth raised my confidence by a huge amount.
