Some time ago, people asked how Chads would train. Nobody could find anything.
I found something, though. The trick is to look for the workouts of obscure high school athletic teams.
For example:

tl;dw: Meme lifts and gym fails everywhere.

Implying doing meme lifts at 14 plus being top tier genetics doesn't make you buff to early teen grills

I'm not saying they're doing anything wrong. The opposite, actually: Stuff /fit/ obsesses about, like ROM or certain lifts, is unimportant or even harmful. It's just autists autisting. REAL athletes don't care.
Also, they don't really look like top genetics.

So all the science we have is wrong and bro science is right?

Bro science > "internet science"
Been that way always. Bro science is basically unbiased empiric experimenting anyway, so why shouldn't it work?

How so? I can buy that doing half reps with squats or having shitty bench form or swinging your body with curls will probably get the job done, but there is evidence that doing half squats will damage your knees (something that I've personally experienced), they're just not realizing that because they're in their teens and not in their 40s when this shit starts to stack up.
It's not about what will work and what won't work, it's just about getting the most bang for your buck when you do the exercise. You can do it inefficiently and not reap the rewards for the time you put in because you want to lift a higher number, or you can do the full movement and take advantage of all the exercise has to offer.

Look at Chad.
Now look at yourself.
Look at Chad.
Now again at yourself.
