If I squatted and deadlifted once a week and ran up my local hiking trial (25 minute incline hill to the top + walking back) would that be enough for legs?
Everyone says you should squat 2-3 times a week, but I really enjoy hill running and its given me fantastic conditioning and definition in my legs

So it would be Tues - Squats/Deads/Legs And Saturday - Running up the hill

Getting toned I see
You don't need to squat as much as fit says. Keep in mind most people here are incels that started lifting 3 months ago. If you want to be good at squatting, you should squat a lot. If you don't really care about how you squat then do what you are saying.

That's fine homie, if you get really sore from the hill runs you might want to move the squat day later to Wednesday.

Yea that's fine, when I ran a lot i had to cut back on squats, my squat didn't go up much but I was able to run faster/longer, and i got leaner. I think you just gotta choose your priorities and base your routine off that.

If you do that every day, maybe.
