no, not really. obviously you can be lean because that's just a question of diet, but don't expect to gain any noticeable amount of muscle swinging kettlebells around. gaining muscle mass is hard enough even with barbells, and barbells are way more effective than kettlebells/calisthenics/etc.

Kettlebells are a good combination of strength training and cardio. You can lean out very well using kettlebells, but you probably won't build huge muscle.

I would also suggest sandbags. As a matter of fact, when it gets warmer and after I build my chinup station I'm going to build a good sandbag and add it to my workouts.
