I've been using TM as a template for some time, and the Mondays make me want to KMS. When I'm done with squats I'm too low energy to do proper pressing.
Today, in kg:
>SQ 107,5: 5,5,4, 100: 5,5
>OHP 47,5: 4, 45: 5,4,4 game over
>Go home, spent 1,5 hours on 9 working sets, wow, no DL today
I'd rather do something else. How about this?
SQ set one: Maximum weight, up to 5 reps
SQ volume sets: 2x5@90%
OHP/BP set one: Maximum weight, up to 5 reps
BP/OHP volume: 3x5@90%
DL/Chin-up: 1x3 to 5 DL or "enough" chin-up Volume
Extra for high-energy days: Farmer's walk, Front Squat, Power Clean or Klokov Press

What's your opinion?
I'm sure there is someone who had the same problems.

The thing about TM is the mondays are always going to be brutal, and if you can't get through them you best look for another program

you could move to a bi-weekly template, stretch volume day over a week, then stretch friday over the other, and maybe add a recovery week when needed.
Volume squats will still be brutal, but when you're planning to warm up, do your squats, and leave, it's ok.

dude how can u be so low energy, on monday i do like 20 doubles for snatch and cnj, 5x5 squat 5x5 bench 5x5 pull ups and 5x5 press and i'm not ever than worn out, sometimes i even do cardio.
please tell me how someone work capacity can be this fucking low. eat some fucking carbs

Aim for Squats 5x5@80%. When I started TM I was aiming to 90% and felt like you. Then went go to 80% and felt better while still making progress
