I've been browsing /fit/ for a while now, but I never got myself around to post anything. So I'm a 5'7 (manlet..i know..)dating a 5'7 gal and I have been trying to help her and myself go to the gym to lose weight. I'm pretty overweight myself a bit, but she is heavier than I am. We have been going to the gym for about 3 weeks now, at least 4 days per week...I'm around 90 kg and she's around 10 more kg than I am. we have been starting with cardio with me running 5 miles and she going on elliptical for 3 miles and we finish both about the same time around 40 min. How should we go about losing weight and start accelerating our weightloss and muscle building?

1. Read the sticky.
2. Don't put on your back the journey of your gf. For now just think about yourself. If she doesn't have the willpower she will definetly drag you down.
3. Weight your food and keep track of every single calorie you eat. No, it won't work if you don't. This site is useful http://cronometer.com/
4. Cut all sugars from your diet.
5. No processed food. Period
6. Eat more protein.
7. Cardio is useful but not mandatory at all.
8. Starting Strenght for 3 to 5 months. Lift weights against gravity you faggot.

Don't listen to him. Cardio is 100% mandatory. It helps your body deliver blood to your muscles. It helps make your heart stronger and healthier.

YOu are fat and it will help you cut. Even when you are bulking, cardio helps change body comp (the % of fat/muscle) you gain.

This is why every single bodybuilder with a noteable physique does cardio, and every single idiot that roids to look ottormode (cough cough Zyzz cough) avoids cardio, uses clen and dnp to cut, and dies in a sanua.
