I've been working out for about 7 months. I incorporate both cardio and strength training in all my workouts. I've lost about 35 pounds and I've gained muscle. I still have a ways to go before I get to my goal weight, but my main thing is that should I start adding protein powder in my post workout meal? I usually just eat my protein right when I get back. Would it help to add it in?

You dont need anymore protein.
Just make sure you are eating your leafy greens, your legumes and beans.
Also rice.
You literally dont need anything else from protein.

If your eating then I wouldn't worry about it. However if your needed to cut calories and want high protein do the protein shake after the workout.
