I have struggled with these insecurities back in my early 20's...I'm 30 now. And I can honestly say I'm over it.

First, get off /fit/. If this manlet bullshit is getting to you that much, seriously get the fuck out.

Secondly, 5'7 is fucking fine (I'm 5"7). I know this because I get a shit ton of pussy, and I'll tell you how. Be a fucking man; be well dressed, in good shape, well groomed, have a sense of humor, be educated and intelligent. Be charming, persuasive. Carry yourself as if you were fucking Napoleon. Don't take shit but always be forgiving. Go read 'if' by Rudyard Kipling basically.

Every so often I'll stand next to a dude in a bar who's like 6"3 and i'll get a flash of bother, but it passes instantly, because I'm confident and supremely secure in myself in every situation. It doesn't come easy but it's possible for everyone with hard work.

If you can't find security in maximizing what gifts you do have then you aint a man, and so deserve your manlet insecurities.
