My gf left me when I was strung out and drunk all the time. I was obese and hated myself and where I was going.

Took a picture and put my head down to know that this was my new life. No more drugs and drinking atm.

7 months later I had lost around 40 lbs and decided to reveal myself on FB. Made my fucking day.. all the likes and knowing that she was being bombarded with people telling her how much I had changed.

10/10 I started out to prove her wrong and I ended up proving myself right,

so many comments, also walking into work and everyone was talking about it to the point where one girl told me another girl couldn't stop talking about it all day
it was pretty good but now you're the guy that lifts and it's no longer a secret for people to find out, unless you meet someone new

I lift for myself, but validation feels good too.

I sorta post progress on snapchat (inb5 normie) so that the pictures don't stay around forever so that they don't linger in my feed months or years from now. Good for showing off progress in the present to everyone without having to see it in the future once you've progressed further. Unless you have friends like me who screenshot everything, although that's just me.
