If you like history or philosophy at all you have a ton of books to choose from. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and The Hagakure by Yamamoto Tsunetomo are just two you might like.

There's no need to overly force yourself to talk or relate about these kind of things.
You might be conflating having more confidence with the ability to communicate with people. about what might be overblown. Are you sure you're not puting others and the things they do on a pedestal. Rememeber that when talking about new thing or things they've done many people like to blow them out of proportion.

Being social is a skill. Stop trying to get a gf or trying to get laid, and just talk with people. Everyone. Men, women, ugly people, liberals, conservatives, babies, old people, animals, plants, yourself, no one, God, the devil, jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, That guy who invented Taoism, foreigners, your neighbors. Everyone.

The more you do it, the better you'll get. Eventually, you'll find someone you like, or someone who likes you. Just talk to them more. then you'll suck at it, and scare her off, but you'll learn what you did wrong and on the next girl, you'll probably scare off, too. But after a few tries you'll eventually get your dick wet.

Talk to people at work, on public transport, go for a walk in the country and talk to people you meet, go to a bar, pass the time of day with people in queues in shops, if there are any events near you like classes or novice sports teams, or other sports facilities, go to them, talk to people who are better than you, everyone likes to give advice, if you have a lot of spare time, look up places you can go to to meet people, find a society for something you're interested in, a gathering of other sci-fi enthusiasts or basket weavers, you could go and volunteer for a charity, you'll meet loads of great people, go to church, go to a mosque, hell, go on omegle or some such website and talk to anyone who doesn't have their dick out
