Read the sticky. You will eventually get to a point where dumbbells will not suffice if you want to progress, but you should have the lifts down so you wont make an ass of yourself at the gym.
Also look up kettlebell stuff. You can do variations with dumbbells.
bulgarian split squats, weighted pull-ups and dips (stick the dumbbell between your feet)
