How do you stop being lazy /fit/? I want to exercise, but I have

How do you stop being lazy /fit/? I want to exercise, but I have a difficult time doing it, I'm always tired, sore, procrastinating, or making up some other excuse to not work out. What should I do /fit/?

Don't. You genuinely have to want to go. Obviously there's gonna be some tired days, but most days of the year I want to work out for a purpose.

The only trick I can recommend, and this is what I do to myself on those very rare days where I "just don't feel like it," is I tell myself:

>Just get dressed, go to the gym and then I can walk in, do one single set and leave immediately.. it will take 15 mins to go and come back...and in that case, at least I tried.

But it's a way to trick myself into going. Once I'm there and I do the first set, my mind is already back in it and I'm gonna go hard... or at least hard enough to be proud of myself for not staying home and staring at Netflix instead. The hardest part about going is the part where you're actually going.

I'm a freelancer, but sometimes I have to commute and work at various studios instead of working from home and I actually enjoy it because it gives me that excuse to go.

I also make sure I hit a gym close to the place I worked at before I hit that midway commute home exhaustion. It actually gives me a huge energy boost where I can then be productive at night before I go to bed again. I drive home full of energy on empty streets after rush hour is dead.

I don't think about it i just do it. There are days when im tired and clock out from work but i still hit the gym. I dont think about it and show up at the door and i tell myself "too late to turn back now fucker" and just start my routine.

Dont think about it. If you keep thinking "in a few hours, later, tomorrow, but i have to do X today" you wont ever start. My advice start this very moment. Run a mile, dont think just do it

I actually have an alarm on my phone that if it goes off at 9pm. If I have not got my workout in yet, it gives me the motivation to start...

It's like I'm telling myself to workout if that makes sense - it's also so I don't legitimately forget if I'm busy with over stuff

Sleep at a good hour

Get some sun
Keep hydrated
Learn how to deal with stress better
And do a simple 15 minute morning workout routine consisting of pushups squats situps bridges pullups/chinups stretching and jumping jacks.

You'll begin to feel better in as little as a few weeks.
