I either pulled a muscle in my lower back, or I slipped a disc. For the love of god, I hope it's the former, but regardless, I'm taking a month off from deadlifts.
What can serve as an alternative for the time being? I was thinking of replacing deads with Leg Press + Weighted Chins for the time being.
Anyone have any advice? Preferably something that does not require use of core + lower back

set cables to lowest pin, stand facing away from pulley with rope between legs, powerstance and then thrust with all your might

You can prolly get away with barbell glute bridges, hamstring curls, and weight pullups. Will this give you anything close to what deadlifts will in terms of strength? No. Will you protect your pussy ass lower back? Yup
